Handcrafted Personalized Ceramics for Restaurants
Distinctive handmade tableware and original ceramic pieces for your restaurant
Every collaboration with a restaurant follows a clear and professional process. My goal is to create handmade ceramic pieces that work both aesthetically and functionally within professional hospitality and culinary environments.
My PROCESS
1. Discovery, Conversation & Material
Everything begins with a conversation.
I want to understand your cuisine, your philosophy, your space, and what you want your guests to feel when they sit down at the table. We talk about textures, temperatures, pace of service, colour, and intention — because every ceramic proposal should feel in dialogue with the culinary identity of each restaurant.
During this first meeting, we also explore different clay bodies, finishes, and glazes. I show, compare, and work through materials together. We discuss the colour palette that best reflects the identity of your restaurant. All glazes and finishes I use are fully food safe.
It is important that material becomes part of the conversation from the very beginning, as every clay has its own character, weight, and presence.
From here, a clear direction begins to emerge: material, tone, and atmosphere.
2. Prototype Development in Clay
I work directly with clay from the very beginning. Initial concepts are developed through clay, creating real prototypes of the pieces needed for the project.
At this stage, I test form, proportion, thickness, and glaze applications until the right balance of texture, colour, and durability is achieved. My expertise in glaze chemistry allows me to develop stable, long-lasting surfaces designed to withstand intensive use without deteriorating over time.
The result is a set of physical prototypes that allows us to assess how each piece performs in real service within a professional dining environment.
3. Refinement & Table Testing
The prototypes are tested on-site and validated at the table.
I refine dimensions, depth, and stability based on real use and the pace of both kitchen and front-of-house service. If needed, I make further adjustments until every piece functions seamlessly — both aesthetically and operationally.
Once every detail has been refined and approved, the final piece is signed off for production.
4. Handmade Production & Delivery
I produce each piece by hand, carefully respecting the drying, glazing, and firing process to ensure lasting durability and performance in a professional setting.
I work with fully vitrified ceramics, resulting in highly durable pieces with low absorption, designed to withstand repeated high-pressure washing without compromising either the clay body or the glaze finish.
Following quality control, the full collection is carefully prepared and delivered, ready to become part of the restaurant experience and enhance its culinary identity.
